Guide to driving in Antalya
Use our guide on driving tips, directions and parking for Antalya.
Driving from the airport to downtown Antalya
Antalya Airport is conveniently located only 15 minutes northeast of the city. Hop in your rental car and exit the airport to merge onto Serik Cd/D400. Keep left to stay on the highway and then take Aspendos Boulevard. Follow this as it turns into Ali Cetinkaya Cd; then take a slight right onto Mevlana Cd. to arrive in the city centre.
Driving tips for your Antalya rental car
When cruising the Antalya coastline, drive cautiously around bends and on windy roads. Avoid driving after dusk as the roads are not well lit. For more driving tips, see below:
● Drive on the right-hand side of the road and always wear your seatbelt.
● Slow down in the city, pedestrians frequently step out in front of moving traffic.
● Plan your route ahead and keep a road map in the car in case your GPS signal fails.
● The friendly locals are happy to help if you lose your way.
● Check with your hired car provider to purchase an E-Z pass for tollways.

Parking options at the Airport and downtown Antalya
Park within walking distance at Antalya Airport and expect to pay 13 TL for the first two hours and 34 TL for the day. There is a designated lot for each terminal.
To park in the city of Antalya, choose one of three large parking lots called Otopark. Parking in Kaleici, the old city, can be a bit more difficult. You will need to park at the MarkAntalya shopping mall for free and walk about 10 minutes to get to Kaleici.
