Loss damage waiver (LDW) is not insurance and not mandatory. If you accept LDW with your initial on the rental document at the daily rate, for each full or partial day that the car is rented to you, and the car is used and operated in accordance with this agreement, If you do not accept LDW, or if the car is lost or damaged as a direct or indirect result of a violation of paragraph 13 of Rental Agrrement, you are responsible, and you agree to pay Aco Rent A Car for all loss of or damage to the car regardless of cause, or who caused it. We accept only total coverage offered by the following companies: GEICO, STATEFARM, PROGRESSIVE, LIBERTY MUTUAL, and USAA. Policies issued in Puerto Rico are not accepted. LDW offered by credit cards issued in Venezuela is not accepted in Aco. US residents in order to decline the LDW must provide us with proof of full coverage insurance. If you use your own insurance or a third party insurance including the coverage offered by your credit card, you will be charged a recovery damage fee of $10 per day. LDW is mandatory for people from another country different from the US without insurance in the US. Check DEBIT CARDS policy if you are planning to use a Debit Card
US DRIVER LICENSE HOLDERS -except FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSES- Are allowed to use the debit card to rent. Foreign customers using debit card as payment or deposit the loss damage waiver and the supplemental liability will be required. If customer has the LDW included in the rate or customer has a third party full coverage insurance only the SLI will be required . read exceptions for the proof of insurance.
Deposit we hold $100 if you accept our CDW or $600 if you use your own insurance to protect our car. If you did not have our CDW and the car is returned damaged, we do not release the deposit until the claim will be settled. If you use a debit card the deposit is charged at the moment of the rental and refund it after you return the car. Depending on your bank, this money will be available in about 21 days.
We may verify your drivers license and your driver records. Aco Rent A Car may refuse the rental if the drivers license has been restricted in any way. We have the right to deny rental based on information provided by the Department of motor vehicles. Temporary driver licenses are not accepted.
Charge of $20 applies if you return in a different date than the one indicated on your contract. You must return the car in the same condition you received it, except for ordinary wear, on the date and at the time indicated in the rental agreement. Under no circumstances, may the car be kept for more than 30 days. It must be returned sooner if Aco Rent A Car demands it. If the rental vehicle is returned later, you may be charged a late return fee.

GPS AND BABY SEATS Aco Rent A Car offers baby seat and GPS navigation systems. Additional charges apply. Customer is full responsible for the equipment in the event of lost or stolen.
- Baby Seats: For infants less than one year and weigh up to 20 lbs or up to 9 kgs.
- Booster Seats: For children between 1 and 5 years old who weigh between 9 and 45 kg (40 to 100 lbs).
EPASS: Your vehicle is equipped with the ability to pay for tolls electronically. You are responsible for paying any and all tolls incurred during the rental term. If, at any time during the rental term, you incur a toll without paying the toll in cash (including on a cashless toll road) or in some other manner permitted by the applicable toll authority, so ACO Car Rental or its agent must pay the toll(s) on your behalf, you will be charged a convenience fee of $3.95 per day or $16.75 per month of the rental term + the maximum undiscounted published toll fee(s) at the time you incur the toll(s). After you return the rental vehicle and any toll or tolls are processed, ACO Car Rental or its agent will charge the convenience fee, toll(s), and any other charges as described above to the credit or debit card you provided when you rented the vehicle. The charges will appear as one or more separate line items on your credit card or bank statement. If you did not provide a debit or credit card when you rented the vehicle, ACO Car Rental or its agent will bill you for the convenience fee, toll(s), and any other charges as described above. You can avoid the convenience fee and any other charges as described above by paying any and all tolls in cash or in some other manner permitted by the applicable toll authority and avoiding any cashless toll roads during the rental term so that neither ACO Car Rental nor its agent have to pay any tolls on your behalf.

The car will be full of gas at the moment of rental however, that may not always be the case. The fuel service charge is not a retail sale of fuel and that the cost of refueling at a local service station may be lower.
There are two fuel options at the time of rental:
A) if you accept to pay the prepay fuel option at the beginning of the rental agreement there will not be any additional fuel service charge at moment of return, regardless of the level of the fuel tank. You will not receive any credit for the fuel left in the car tank.
B) if you do not accept the prepay fuel charge, you must return the car with the same level of fuel as you received it and that is record in the rental document.
If the car is returned with less fuel, ACO Rent A Car will charge a fuel service fee for the cost of refueling the car to the same level it was at when you received the car.
You will not receive any credit if you return the car with more fuel than you received it.
The level of the tank will be obtained by reading the factory installed gauge, rounded down to the nearest 1/8 of the tank.
The rental vehicle cannot be driven out of the state in which it was rented.
SLI Suplemental liability INSURANCE: protects you against claims made by a third party for bodily injury and/or property damage sustained as a result of an accident while you are operating a rental vehicle.
Roadside Assistance: Covers any help needed if the car experiences any kind of operating difficulties. RSA basic only for customers located less than 25 miles from any of our locations. RS250 for customers located less than 250 miles from any of our locations.
A car reservation can be made on our website. Reservations can also be made directly at any of our offices. A confirmation number will be give once your resevation has been confirmed. This number can be used to gain access to your reservation information, including your rates. Your reservation guarantees a car at the rate and date that it was reserved for . It does not guarantee a specific make and model of a vehicle, nor can it guarantee a reservation for another date. The maximum rental length is 28 days, while the minimum rental length is 1 day. Rates are calculated based on a 24 hour clock, once this clock has gone past the 24 hour period, another day will be charged. We offer weekly and daily rates. We do not offer hourly or weekend rates at this time.
Local renters (FLORIDA DRIVER LICENSE HOLDERS): Must present a valid ID or Driver license and a credit card on their names.
-$600 deposit with the Credit card if the customer declines our loss damage waiver.

Return Airport Fee
- This charge will be applied at closing of the rental agreement contract and it will be not reflected in the total amount of your reservation.
Prohibited use of car
-Certain uses of the car and other things you or a driver may do, or fail to do, will violate this agreement. A violation of this paragraph, which includes use of the car by an unauthorized driver, will automatically terminate your rental, void all liability protection, and any optional services that you have accepted, including supplemental liability insurance, personal accident and effects insurance, and loss damage waiver. A violation also makes you liable to us for all the penalties, fines forfeitures, liens and recovery and storage costs, including all related legal expenses, fees and cost.
All charges, fees and expenses, including payments for loss or damage to the car, are due at our demand. If you do not pay all charges when due, you agree to pay a late charge of the lesser of either 1 % per month on the past due balance. If that rate is not permitted by law, then you will pay the highest rate permitted by law on the past due balance. You will pay any collection costs, including a service charge, for any check that is not honored by a financial institution and our reasonable attorney fees. If you dont pay any amount when due, if the law permits, you authorize us to contact you or your employer at your place of business about payment. If you fail to pay any indebtedness to us in full, you understand that we may report such deficiency to an appropriate credit reporting agency.

To extend your rental agreement you must contact us at 1-888-526-0440 before your return date.
We may or may not grant an extension or grant it for the entire period you request, in our sole discretion. If we do grant an extension a different or higher rate may be applied to the extension period and a service fee may also apply. Failure to return rental property or equipment upon expiration of the rental period and failure to pay all amounts due (including costs for damage to the property or equipment) are prima facie evidence of intent to defraud, punishable in accordance with section 812.155, Florida statutes.
- Debit (not from FLorida Driver License holders) and credit cards are accepted ( American Express, Diner, Discovery, Visa, and Master).
Prepay rental terms:
- If you need to cancel prior to scheduled pick up time, well refund the full prepaid amount less a $25 processing fee. The fee is charged 24-48 hours after the scheduled pick up . No other charges will be placed on the card. This fee will not be charged if your flight is cancelled and the airline and flight number are in the reservation prior to your scheduled pick-up.- Standard rental terms and conditions apply.
-You must show an id and credit or debit card at the moment of the rental for the deposit.
-Deposit is always required even when the reservation is completely paid in advance.
-By making the reservation you consent and authorize the no show fee ($25) to be added to your credit card if you dont rent the car and cancel the reservation.
-Regardless of the form of payment used at the time of reservation for the no show fee, all location credit and debit card hold rules apply.

Orlando Airport you need to go to Ground transportation area (level 1 or lowest level). Let us know that you arrived dialing 285 from the courtesy phones located at the rental car area. Proceed outside to the rental car pick up area. Look for the orange or green signs A11-13 A33-A35 or B11-B13 or B35-B37 and wait for our shuttle.
At the airport terminal, head to the MIA Mover (MIA Station, level 3) and take the train to the Rental Car Center (RCC). Upon arrival, enter the RCC and walk forward until the exit door and you will see our own BUS which takes you to our facilities in less than 3 minutes.
We rent NON SMOKING CARS. You will pay an additional charge up to $250 if you return the car and it smells of smoke.

We welcome feedback from our customers on their experience with our suppliers. We may, at our discretion, provide you with reasonable assistance in resolving any dispute you may have with a supplier.
Our total liability to you in relation to your use of this website and the information contained on this website will not exceed the dollar amount of the deposit we have received from you in relation to your booking/rental. Refunds will not be made for bookings cancelled due to inclement weather. Again, we strongly recommend that you take out travel insurance. Your use of this website is governed by the laws of New Zealand and the jurisdiction of the New Zealand courts.

Vehicle capacity and fitness to drive
Under no circumstances are you permitted to carry more passengers than the vehicle you rent is legally registered to carry, and if you do your insurance may be invalidated. Luggage capacity where shown is an indication only and we will not be responsible should you be unable to fit your entire luggage into a vehicle. It is your responsibility to choose a journey that is within your capabilities. A vehicle supplier can refuse to rent a vehicle to any person who is in their opinion unfit to drive or does not meet eligibility requirements. In such circumstances we will have no further liability to you.
In the event of cancellation, any deposit amounts paid at the time of booking are non-refundable.
If you are unsatisfied with our service, please contact us within 48 hours of placing your booking or request and we will work to resolve any issues and determine if compensation is due. In the event you have completed your rental and are unhappy with your vehicle, we are happy to assist you in seeking compensation from the operator of the vehicle.
